We provide you with commentary from today’s hottest up-and-coming comedians. Our columns are made up of several categories including the Comic Life, Editorials, Opinion Pieces, Regional Times and Comedy Reviews. The Heavy Hitting News features a combination of real-time news as well as all the major updates or changes to the Heavy Hitters of Comedy website. The goal with the news section is to provide the comedian with the day’s hottest headlines. COMIC PROFILES

We profile a range of stand-up comedians, from the professional to the aspiring. If you are a comedian or just simply looking for a comedian, then our comic profiles are the first place you should check. Our profiles feature links to the comedian’s professional and community websites, a biography, future events, 10-question interviews, twitter feeds, and other comedian facts. Comedian members are the only users offered a comic profile. If you are a comedian, you will find the Comic Profile tools located in your “User Profile” page. EVENTS

In a constant effort to help comedians promote their comedy events, we have created the most effective and searchable event list on the Internet. Whether you are performing comedy or simply providing the comedy event that you will be attending, we make it easy for you to let others know. Comedians, Club Managers, Agents, and Talent Managers are the only members who are given the ability to provide comedy events. To search for an Event, click here.

DIRECTORIES

We have created (3) specific directories: an Industry Directory, Club Directory, and Fan Directory. Our Industry Directory was created specifically for comedians, club managers, agents, and talent managers to help with networking and management. We also have created a searchable Club Directory featuring comedy clubs across the country. Our Fan Directory features our Fan Members. The Fan Directory allows our users to get in touch with other Fan Members who share similar interests. Our directory features a limited amount of contact information for those members who have not paid for a subscription. A member, who pays for a subscription will still need to make an online “connection” with each individual member in our database before the contact information is shared. INDUSTRY DIRECTORY

The Industry Directory is a professional and private directory. Full listings are made available to Comedian, Agent, Club Manager, and Talent Manager members who pay for a subscription.

CLUB DIRECTORY

The Club Directory is available to all members and is a complete listing of comedy clubs across the country. Our directory is searchable by club name or state and features the venue, address, phone, website links and a brief description.

FAN DIRECTORY

Our Fan Directory works in the same way our Industry Directory does-it allows our Fan members to connect with one another. Each member must make a “connection” before information is shared.

NOTICES

We have created a section on our website devoted to providing comedians and comic actors with comedy-specific casting and job notices. We also feature all Heavy Hitters of Comedy job opportunities.

If you are a comedian, then you must register for a Comedian Membership. Comedians are offered a specific set of tools and features. These tools give the comedian an opportunity to provide future comedy events; a comic profile; our connection tools; indexing into our Industry Directory and other features as they become available.

CLUB MANAGER MEMBERSHIP – FREE

If you are a manager of a comedy club, then you must register for a Club Manager Membership. Club Managers are offered a specific set of tools and features. These tools give the Club Manager an opportunity to provide future comedy events; make connections with comedians; get listed in our Industry Directory and other features as they become available.

COMEDY BOOKER MEMBERSHIP – FREE

If you are a Comedy Show Booker, then you must register for a Comedy Booker Membership. Comedy Bookers are offered a specific set of tools and features. These tools give the Comedy Booker an opportunity to provide future comedy events; make connections with comedians; get listed in our Industry Directory and other features as they become available.

AGENT MEMBERSHIP – FREE

If you are an agent working with comedians, then you must register for an Agent Membership. Agents are offered a specific set of tools and features. These tools give the Agent an opportunity to provide future comedy events; make connection with comedians and other professionals; get listed in our Industry Directory and other features as they become available.

TALENT MANAGER MEMBERSHIP – FREE

If you are a manager working with comedians, then you must register for a Manager Membership. Managers are offered a specific set of tools and features. These tools give the Manager an opportunity to provide future comedy events; make connections with comedians and other professionals; get listed in our Industry Directory and other features as they become available.

FAN MEMBERSHIP- FREE

If you’re a fan of comedy, then you must register for a Fan Membership. Fan Members are offered a specific set of tools and features. These tools give the Fan an opportunity to rate other comedians; attend comedy events; make connections with comedians and other fans; get listed in our Fan Directory and other features as they become available.

** We DO NOT offer paid Subscription Services to our Fan Members.

USER PROFILES

A “User Profile” is the personal landing page for each registered member. The user profile features custom tools and forms for creating comic profiles, events, and other customizations. The user profile page is only visible to “You” the registered member, but a reflection of the page is made available to other users and is considered a “Public Profile.”

The public profile features your avatar; links to a professional website, comic profile and authored columns. It also features your biography, recent event posts or events you will be attending; your fans and those that you are personally following. Public profiles are found by searching our directories.
